Energy Bites

This delicious recipe is a great way to use one of your BFF purchased dry goods- oats! Energy bites are extremely versatile: they can take on many flavors and can be prepared ahead of time for a healthy and convenient snack on the go.  Check out two of my favorite options and let us know your favorite version of energy bites!


Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip

  • 1 cup dry oats
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Dash of salt
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Blueberry Muffin

  • 1 cup dry oats
  • 1/4 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup dried blueberries
  • 1 dash salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla


1. Mix together all of your ingredients for either flavor and stir well

2. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes

3. Roll into bite size snack bites

4. Refrigerate for up to a week or freeze for longer storage
