Why be an intern?

Take your engagement to the next level and earn valuable social enterprise experience as a student. Additionally, you will have specific goals and deliverables while working directly with the Chief Operating Officer and the Chief Marketing Officer as well as your own personal professional development plans over the course of the semester. These opportunities are for those looking to have a larger commitment to the organization and a larger say in our strategic vision moving forward. Next spring, more positions within other functional areas will be available.

Operations Intern

Responsibilities: Operations Analysts are tasked with organizing bulk-buy events and ensuring the smooth operation of the events. Analysts will be expected to pursue continuous improvement initiatives to improve operation of bulk buy events and work to standardize operations in order to support expansion efforts. 

-Degrees: Operations Management, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, City and Regional Planning majors preferred, but not necessary
-3.0 minimum GPA
-Ability to regularly meet with BFF Supply Chain stakeholders
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
-Interest in continuous process improvement
-Ability to lift at least 25 pounds

Outreach Intern

Marketing Analysts will support Outreach Chair with social media outreach, create physical and digital advertisements, design promotions, and regularly interact with customers. Marketing Analysts are the physical face of Best Food Forward and help define what customers think of the organization and drive success. 

-Degrees: Marketing, Strategic Communications, Design, English majors preferred, but not necessary. An outgoing, positive attitude goes a long way! 
-3.0 minimum GPA
-Ability to regularly meet with BFF Supply Chain stakeholders
-Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud preferred, but not necessary
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
